This single malt from an undisclosed Orkney Distillery was matured in a batch of four casks - two sherry butts and two ex-bourbon barrels, the liquid aged and rested until 2022.

Nose: A great mix of aromas on the nose, some sweet smoke and dry earthy tones opening the palate, some dry ginger and soft smoke build as the dram opens. 

Palate: Golden honeycomb with some dark cocoa and sweet spices, dry candied orange and digestive biscuit, honey and ginger adding a sweet mid palate before a sweet heathery smoke wraps the flavours together nicely, with a creamy almost soft syrup undertone the finish is balanced, chocolate and cereal notes with a subtle dry edge.
