Talisker Distiller's Edition Amoroso Cask Finish 45.8%

An exciting single malt here from renowned Skye single malt distillery Talisker. It’s been finished in Amoroso sherry casks which impart a nutty, chocolatey element into the typically coastal, maritime, smoky whisky. A real treat from the remote island Scotch.

Tasting notes:

Nose: Some dark fruits, orchards and chocolate aromas flood the nose, with hints of soft iodine with a mix of nutty and cereal notes. There’s a nice tempting aroma of red and green grapes on the vine. 

Palate: The influence of the coast comes into play as this dram hits the palate, with a rich fruity range with the additional complexity of sea salt and caramel, some peaty undertones run side by side with a sweet smoke tone.

Finish: A mix of vanilla and chocolate with a touch of spice
