Mars Shinshu Distillery Established 1985 

This distillery vanished off the radar during the whisky slump of the 1990's, after operating for Just 7 years of production the distillery went silent, 25 years later it rose from the ashes with some new vintages that had time to age in the bonds during the hiatus. 

Now and again you will come across a vintage that has older stocks mixed in to newer distillate, or the new core ranges that stand out as exceptional whiskies in their own right.
