Lagavulin Distillery Established 1816 on the Isle of Islay, located on the south coast of the Island alongside some other distilleries known for deep rich peaty single malts.
The current distillery was a merger of two distilleries one called Ardmore (Yes a distillery with that name exists in Speyside)
