Nose: Robust with some smouldering peat fire embers, dark fruits are at the front of the aromas along with the smoke, vanilla and dark dried fruits prevail as this dram opens up to a rich and taste driven palate. 

Palate: Some salty coastal notes with dark chocolate and raisin's with sweet smoke building all the time, dark rich coffee beans, wood embers, dark fruits, truffles and black pepper, a fruity peaty spice not in the lingering finish of this classic Islay.
