Johnnie Walker Blue Label Ghost & Rare Port Dundas 43.8% 70cl

This is the the fifth release of Johnnie Walker's limited-edition Ghost and Rare series.

Celebrating The famous Port Dundas grain distillery that was in Glasgow

The distillery closed in 2010 after operating since 1811

This edition has some standout whiskies in the blend including Brora, and Cambus.

Nose: Smooth creamy woody tones, some soft light fruits, banana and sweet green grapes, shortbread and a sweet almost Scottish tablet tone that gives way to a more soft spice and vanilla notes, some soft charred oak and sweet smoke undertones.

Palate: Rather elegant and smooth from the first sip, with a rich vanilla and soft warm baked sponge, white chocolate and now the twist that so perfectly balances the soft creamy note we find some coastal tang with a woody soft smoke, a long and rich finish will tempt you back time and time again.
