Glenfiddich Pure Malt 1980s 43%

This label was around from the 70's with some still around in the 80's when this bottle was released.

It states pure Malt on the label a term used at the time to say quality not blended etc, Glenfiddich was the first commercially available single - pure malt in the world of modern day marketing and releases.

Nose: The taste remains superbly rich and soft very much akin to what we know and love today, with some addition notes of ripe orchard fruits, soft creamy toffee, honey and light ginger notes.

Palate: Smooth and creamy with honeydew melon, shortbread and soft caramel toffee, some lemon drizzle and soft pears and peaches, with a lingering smooth honey and milk chocolates, with crumble pastry and a touch of cinnamon.
