Your new go-to blended Scotch whisky has arrived! It’s based on our very own recipe that dates back to the 1960s – because originality never fades. Milroy’s Original is a top-quality, versatile blend that will bring a taste of everyday luxury to your drinks cabinet. Bursting with rich fudge and orchard fruit notes, it’s perfect for sipping, mixing and good conversations. It’s your whisky, your way. It’s simply great whisky.
Tasting notes:
Nose: The nose opens with gentle fudge and poached pear notes, followed by chocolate-covered raisins, orange peel and coconut. Sweet pastry notes develop, followed by clove and cinnamon sweet spices.
Palate: Gently warming with a buttery texture, vanilla ice cream arrives first, followed by apricots, Victoria sponge cake and soft black pepper, backed by more milk chocolate and fondant icing.
Finish: Medium length with peppery cinnamon and oaky notes.

THE ORIGINAL APPLE
Ingredients:
50ml Milroy’s Original Blended Scotch Whisky
100-150ml Appletiser, to your taste
Plenty of cubed ice
Slice of apple to garnish (if you’re feeling fancy, an apple fan!)
Method:
Fill a tall glass with ice and pour over Milroy’s Original. Top with Appletiser. Stir gently with a bar spoon. Garnish with the apple slice and enjoy!
SUGGESTED SERVES
SOHO SPRING HIGHBALL
Ingredients:
50ml Milroy’s Original Blended Scotch Whisky
100-150ml elderflower pressé, to your taste
Plenty of cubed ice
A lime wedge to garnish
Method:
Fill a tall glass with ice and pour over Milroy’s Original. Top up with the elderflower pressé. Stir gently with a bar spoon. Garnish with the lime wedge and enjoy!
SUGGESTED SERVES
THE NOT-SO-ORIGINAL MANHATTAN
Ingredients:
50ml Milroy’s Original Blended Scotch Whisky
15ml Lillet Blanc
10ml Merlet Crème de Poire
2 dashes Peychaud’s Cocktail Bitters
Cubed ice
An orange twist to garnish
Method:
Build all the ingredients into a large glass filled with ice. Slowly stir with a bar spoon for at least 60 seconds. Strain into a chilled Coupe glass and garnish with an orange twist.
