Milroy’s Exclusives represent the pinnacle of our buying philosophy, a handpicked collection of whiskies and spirits selected, approved, and bottled specifically for Milroy’s of Soho. Each bottle in this range reflects our heritage as London’s original whisky specialist and our ongoing commitment to offering customers distinctive, high-quality expressions that you simply won’t find anywhere else.

Since opening our doors in 1964, Milroy’s has built lasting relationships with distilleries, independent bottlers, and producers across the whisky world. These partnerships allow us to secure single casks, limited runs, and specially blended releases tailored to our exacting standards. Every exclusive bottling is chosen through a rigorous tasting process by our buying team, ensuring it delivers exceptional flavour, balance, and character.

The range includes single cask whiskies from both iconic and lesser-known distilleries. Single casks are inherently rare, with yields typically between 150 and 600 bottles, and each one offers a unique snapshot of a spirit’s journey from still to cask to glass. We select casks that showcase a distillery’s house style at its best, or that reveal an unusual and captivating side of its character. These might be a sherried Speyside malt with rich fruitcake depth, a maritime Highland dram with subtle smoke, or a delicate Lowland whisky full of floral charm.

Milroy’s Exclusives aren’t limited to whisky. Our selection also includes carefully sourced rums, Cognacs, Armagnacs, and other spirits that meet the same high bar for quality. We work with producers who share our passion for authenticity and craftsmanship, ensuring each bottle reflects both its place of origin and the Milroy’s standard of excellence.

Cask type and maturation are at the heart of our exclusives. We often seek out unusual or high-quality oak, from first-fill bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry butts to port pipes, rum casks, and even more experimental finishes. These choices bring complexity and individuality to the spirit, with the aim of delivering something genuinely memorable for our customers.

Our exclusives are bottled with integrity. Where possible, they are offered at natural cask strength, without chill filtration and with natural colour, preserving the spirit exactly as it came from the cask. Labels detail the cask type, number, and distillation and bottling dates, so customers can appreciate the whisky’s full provenance.

Owning a Milroy’s Exclusive means more than just having a rare bottle, it’s about being part of our history and ethos. Many customers collect these releases, building verticals of single casks from the same distillery, while others open them for special occasions, knowing they’re sharing something truly unique.

Our Milroy’s Exclusives category is constantly evolving, with new bottlings arriving throughout the year. Quantities are always limited, and once a cask is gone, it cannot be repeated. Each release is an opportunity to experience a spirit that reflects our expertise, our relationships in the industry, and our dedication to offering remarkable drams for those who value authenticity, rarity, and flavour above all else.
