Jamaican Rum HD 10 Year Old 2012 The Whisky Jury 58.4% 70cl

Another gem from the team at Whisky Jury that has seen a mixture of tropical and continental ageing. Here's the official tasting note which perfectly covers what this bottling is about:

Nose: Banana puree, orange juice, pineapple and snuff, but immersed in candle wax, ecoline and acetone. 

Palate: Then there are a lot of sweet notes in the form of banana, pineapple and even some sultanas, but they have to make way midpalate without mercy for a wonderfully brackish touch such as oyster juice or olive brine. 

Finish: In the long, spicy aftertaste, the sweet notes regain the upper hand. Funky until the last minute.
