Nose: With a great age whisky comes a complex nose! Sweet notes are here but not overwhelming, its a nice build up of dark fruits and a soft oily aroma of toasted nuts and sweet spices, hints of polished leather, damson's and fig's add a nice touch to the nose, dark honey and ginger add that classic Speyside aroma, a hint of ripe plums, forest fruits and a little more spice.

Palate: As rich as the nose with a lot of ripe and juicy dark fruits, plum, blackcurrant undertones, mouthcoating a rich as this dram opens on the palate, dark hard toffee and rich treacle tones just as the office notes indicate, With a fresh and fruity long and sublime finish comes into play with sweet ember notes, spiced fruits and a little soft chocolate right to the end to give a warming smooth and memorable dram.
