An exploration into the funky, deliciously grubby distillery character of Highland maker Ardmore! The Whisky Sponge folks at Decadent Drinks have released this 25-year-old expression, which, in their own words, retains its “dung-addled distillate potency”. The release spent its entire quarter-century maturation in an old refill hogshead, adding to the rawness of the distillery character. We love it is herbal, citrussy, peppery smoke – and yes, the signature funk is  very much present, too. Fascinating!
