Our checkout automatically calculates the best shipping and delivery options for you. This varies depending on location and parcel weight. It’s the most accurate way to check logistics costs. Here’s an overview to give you an idea how it all works.

Orders typically take a couple of days to process, and then your bottles will be on their way to you. Need it in a hurry? Reach out and we’ll let you know if we can speed it up.

You can add delivery instructions as an order note from your basket. Our team will see it after checkout and can pass it on to our logistics partners.

Confirmation and tracking

We’ll send you a confirmation email as soon as we’ve processed your order.

Your order will be trackable via our logistics partners as soon as it’s shipped. You’ll get a tracking code directly from them.

If your parcel is being shipped to the UK (excluding Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands)

our expert warehouse partners deliver directly using their specialist ‘white glove’ service. No third-party courier is involved, which means your bottle will arrive with minimal packaging. It is in safe hands, and we reduce our environmental impact.

UK mainland shipping is free on orders over £100. For orders under £100 we charge a flat rate of £4.95.

International shipping – including Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands, excluding the US.

Great news! We ship to many countries around the world. Our logistics partner operates using ‘zones’, outlined below. Rates depend on the weight of your order. The best way to get accurate shipping costs is to use the checkout tool.

A note on tax and customs charges: you won’t pay UK VAT on international orders, but you’ll likely be charged local duties and customs fees. These are calculated separately, and are payable by you when your order enters your country. You’ll be contacted directly by your courier who will invoice you for any taxes and request any documentation in line with local customs requirements. We don’t know what these charges will be. These fees also apply to gifts.

If you’re concerned, contact your local customs organisation for advice before placing an order. 

We use DHL Express for international orders. Unless you have ordered unusually shaped bottles, your shipment will be packed in Airsacks.

Once your order has been processed by our UK warehouse, you’ll receive a tracking number. This can take 24 hours to update.

DHL will contact you for customs clearance and payment of local taxes before delivery.

Western Europe

We can ship to Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and the Channel Islands.

Europe

We can ship to Austria, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Portugal, Sweden and Northern Ireland.

United States

We can ship to 22 US states: California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia,
Idaho, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Washington and Wyoming. 

Single bottle rates start at £42.61, increasing to £121.37 for 10 bottles. Our US deliveries are shipped under DDP terms, so all US taxes are prepaid as part of the shipping fee at checkout. This means that, unlike other international
shipments, there is no additional tax to pay before delivery.

We use specialist alcohol freight forwarder Connoisseur International (CID) to ship our US orders. CID will provide a tracking number prefixed ‘HW’ as soon as they receive your order. The CID team collects from our UK warehouse on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Shipments enter the US via San Francisco where it clears customs under CID’s import license. We then use UPS for final delivery once in the country. US shipments usually take 10-14 days, but it is best to allow up to three weeks as there are lots of factors involved.

Rest of the world

We can ship to China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea.
