A wonderfully warming Canadian rye, which is named after its maturation style! It’s aged initially in lightly charred barrels before being moved into heavily charred American oak for finishing. What’s also curious about this is that it’s a blend of both column and pot-distilled spirit! Perfect for both sipping and mixing.
Nose: Super spicy with pepper and cinnamon wrapped up in a tiramisu base, with sharp citrus and vanilla ice cream too.
Palate: Bold and striking with peppery warmth, there’s a menthol greenness in with caramel, condensed milk, raisins, and more citrus.
Finish: Long, and rich with more of the cinnamon spice.
