Matured in 100% Port Pipes for the full maturation
Nose: Dark dried fruits and a rich intense influence from the cask, Dark glazier cherries, dark chocolate and a touch of pepper, some dark fruit jams, oak aged balsamic, dried tobacco leaf, polished leather.
Palate: With a fruity opening we find its more smoky now. Dark damson and Black currants, with rich berry notes, ground coffee beans
Finish: Lingering oak spices and syrupy, some liquorice and soft winey notes.
