Highland Park 40 Year Old 43.2% ABV

Highland Park distillery is incredibly remote. The island of Orkney makes for a unique microclimate where heather and peat become one. In European oak, this floral smoke is unparalleled.

Nose: Robust and ample with hints of conifer and eucalyptus essence with traces of manuka nectar. Some fruity hints, grassy moorland and assorted citrus peels emerge with mild smoke.

Palate: Satiating and somewhat unctuous with hints of verdant foliage and almond paste with traces of fortified wine. Bitter orange preserve and a touch of piquancy.

Finish: Extended with fragrant hints and tangy tannic oak.
