This award winning Cognac has some fantastic rich dark and brooding notes that fill the palate, produced in 1960. 

Nose: Plumbs and dark chocolate nibs, dark fruits and all spice, some liquorice root, ginger biscuits and strawberry cheesecake, damson and dates. 

Palate: The complexity of the nose is balanced by the richness of the palate, we open with a superb dark chocolate and hints of vanilla pod, BBQ tones and some dried dates, soft sultana and spiced apricot, with marzipan and tangy citrus notes, with a tangy spice its becoming a nicely balanced cognac in the finish.
