A treat here from Highland Scotch whisky distillery Glencadam. Its taken both ex-bourbon and ex-sherry malts and married them together before a finishing period in Oloroso butts from the region of Andalucía in Spain!
Tasting note:
Nose: Loads of honey jumps from the glass, along with pear, apple, fudge and sweet spices.
Palate: A creamy texture brings with it apple strudel, figs, dates, raisins and syrupy flapjack, with a gentle peppery lift.
Finish: Medium length with more cinnamon.
