Glen Elgin 2013 Small Batch Berry Bros & Rudd 46%

A vibrant release from our friends at Berry Bros. This Glen Elgin single malt was distilled at the Speyside distillery, before being matured in hogsheads for a decade. It’s expressive, characterful, and at 46%, gently warming without being abrasive. An easy-sipping sunny whisky that’s best accompanied by great conversation with friends.

Tasting note:

Nose: Glen Elgin’s signature burnt toast and marmalade jumps from the glass, followed by apple, pear, crème brûlée, and soft, sweet spices.

Palate: Bold and mouth-coating (hello worm tub condenser), the creamy texture holds milk chocolate digestive biscuit notes, more orchard fruits, and cinnamon.

Finish: Long, gentle and drying
