Flying Dutchman Rum, 4 years old Batch 2 TBRC 55.6% 

Made at Zuidam Distillery in the Netherlands from imported molasses, distilled in 2 pot still’s, it's given a long fermentation prior to distillation using premium yeast, matured in a very old ex solera sherry cask. 

Nose: Depp and fruity with some soft tobacco leaf and golden honeycomb, dark fruits and sweet dry spices, malted fruit cake slices, hints of farmhouse butter adding an oily note to the aroma, some winter fruit cake and sweet chilly. 

Palate: Dry nutty and sweet spices, a little plumb and black pepper, red berries and caramelised orange peel, dark chocolate and rich hints of dark fruits and a little runny toffee, peach and apricots and green apple adding a sweet and zesty edge. 

A lingerie rich and complex finish.
