Clan Colla 11 Year Old 46% ABV

A fabulously complex Irish whiskey blend here from the team behind the fledgling Ahascragh Distillery. There are sourced malt and grain whiskeys, with the resulting blend matured in a triple whammy of ex-bourbon, ex-oloroso sherry butts and peated casks. Wonderfully flavoursome!

Tasting note:

Nose: Earthy and rich, with orchard fruit, hints of toasted oak, and a whisper of peat smoke.

Palate: Honeyed and mouth-coating, with salted caramel, almond nuttiness, dark fruits, and a slightly earthier smoke.

Finish: Medium length and gently warming with a final flicker of smoke.
