New Zealand’s Cardrona Distillery now has single malt that’s seven years old! One of the producer’s oldest releases, this single cask bottling has been matured in a bourbon barrel from Breckenbridge. Released at a hearty 66.9% ABV, it’s a powerful expression that showcases the distillery character. This is released in a 375ml format.

Tasting note:

Nose: Alive with stone and orchard fruits, there’s peach, apricot, apple and pear, all wrapped up in a vanilla custard.

Palate: Peppery and warming, the alcohol integrates well into a grassy, fruity palate with a creamy texture, backed with cinnamon spice and coconut.

Finish: Medium length with more stone fruit and pepper.
