Caol Ila 2013 aged 9 years old Ruby Port Cask Finish 47.5% Vol -70cl 

Nose: Salted caramel and sweet peaches adding a fresh sweet note to the nose, with a hint of crushed pepper, dried berries and spices, some very rich aromas of paprika and toasted cinnamon, tobacco leaf and candied orange.

Palate: Warming spices, hints of charred oak and smooth toffee, sweet smoke building into a dry spice, salted caramel toffee and orange peel, some pink pepper and gingerbread with whiffs of oak smoke and seaside rock, a mellow yet tangy citrus note lifts the back end of the palate to reveal a rich and lingering finish.
