Aged in oak casks, with the final 19 months in Caroni Rum Casks
Nose: Sweet and robust fruits, some charred oak, salted caramel, with dark and spiced toffee, peach and pineapple, BBQ embers, some dry spices and tropical fruits, hints of leather and polished oak.
Palate: A rich and spicy note at the front, with dark chocolate and dry dates, a pinch of pepper and waxy notes coating the palate, with damson and dark plumbs, some charcoal and hints of liquorice adding a nice tangy note to the dram.
