A dense, rich and smoky expression from Siete Misterios – this release has been copper pot distilled after hand-milling and crushing with a traditional horse-drawn Tahona wheel. ‘Doba-Yej’ is an ancient Zapotec term for agave Espadin, and this is a glorious celebration of the variety. Complex with barbecued agave, citrus peel and caramel notes, it’s a must-taste mezcal indeed.
