Patron Añejo 40% ABV
Patrón is celebrated as a high-end easy sipper and with good reason. It’s delicious, straightforward, and an essential Tequila for the drinks cabinet. It’s made from 100% Blue Weber agave, and aged in French, Hungarian and used American whiskey barrels for at least a year. It’s round, mouth-filling, and, simply put, a delight to sip.
Tasting note:
Nose: Rich and resinous, with vanilla, raisins, and a wonderful warming oakiness. There’s a distant hint of citrus peel, too.
Palate: Earthier on the palate with honey coming through, too. The raw agave character is still in there along with the cask influence.
Finish: Long with more honey and earthy spices.
