Del Maguey Crema de Mezcal 40% ABV
A mezcal crema made from the Espadín agave varietal in the village of San Luis Del Rio. Production takes place right by the tropical riverbed where the Red Ant River flows. The team make the most of a wild fermentation, before double-distillation in wood-fired, copper stills hones the flavour. After distillation, the spirit is blended with natural agave spirit for a unique drinking experience.
Nose: Lots of vanilla, followed by an aloe vera, agave quality. Pear brings a juiciness, before it's grounded in almond and coffee.
Palate: Roasted pineapple, orange zest and mango build on the fruity character, while almond and coffee bring depth.
Finish: Surprisingly long, round and with more vanilla.
