Palate: The richness of the Bourbon Cask has added influence to the robust taste of this Islay single malt, meaty and bold opening with smoke and peat, some candied citrus peel, tobacco leaf, some pine needles and sweet smoke, liquorice and dark fruits make a break on the later part of the palate before a spicy smoke and peat with the tar notes from the nose linger throughout the dram.
