Nose: A very interesting aroma of dark fruits, some cherries and red currants with a hint of charcoal embers on a smouldering BBQ, tangy notes on the nose flow into the palate as we dig into this great tasting Islay.
Palate: Almonds with dates and figs, smoked fruit, salt water taffy, pink salted toffee, smoke builds along with a rich toffee and vanilla, seaside candy, Heading into the finish we find rich coastal notes, smoke and smouldering rich peat, a little more citrus and truffles.
