The Singleton Of Glen Ord 39 Year Old 46.2% Vol Limited edition rare vantage. 

European oak casks that had previously held port, red wine, Pedro Ximenez and oloroso sherry, with a final movement into casks that held Bordeaux red wine. 

Nose:  With a rich berry and fruit cake opening on the nose, some creamy notes of vanilla and shortbread, sweet apricots, damson and date, candied orange. 

Palate: Very rich and elegant, soft vanilla and cherry, some chocolate and shortbread adding a nice creamy mid tone, red berries and sweet plumbs, candied peel and demerara sugar, peach and peppery notes adding a nice contrast on the late palate, with fresh baked patisseries and melon the range of smooth and fruity notes goes on and on.
