Known for their cask selection, Sansibar made a particularly good decision here with the Speyside 43 Year Old. Although the origin is undisclosed, there are a few who have guessed at the provenance and although we are unsure, we can confirm the whisky is delicious. 

 

Nose: The aroma is incredibly sweet and creamy, with notes of beeswax, acacia honey, and an abundance of vanilla. There are also hints of overripe mango and cream toffee.

Taste: The flavor profile is complex and captivating, with the beeswax immediately present. The creamy consistency is complemented by perfectly integrated oak tannins, and there are light fruity notes and a touch of nutmeg.

Finish: The finish is long and warming, with a spicy kick that never becomes too sharp.
