An aromatic, grassy expression from Highland distillery Teaninich, independently bottled by The Goldfinch. Finished in an Oloroso sherry cask, this mouthwateringly tasty 14-year-old expression offers an abundance of tropical fruit notes. Just 190 bottles have been released at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or colouring.
Tasting notes from Goldfinch:
Nose: Parma violets, light and grassy, wisps of vanilla and pineapple.
Palate: An initial explosion of fruit and dried dates, slightly tannic but with scintillating spice and leather.
Finish: A smooth unwinding finish of malt, leather, vanilla, cereal and smooth nuttiness.
