Springbank 27 Year Old 47.1% Spherical Sprits - Cask n°95 Sherry Hogshead Refill

Nose: Sweet and very subtle notes of sherry and dry spices, some Campbeltown coastal aromas along the edge of the nose really lift the aroma, medicinal and rich with dark fruits hints of charred oak, soft leather aromas and dark toffee. 

Palate: The front of the palate has some excellent balance, sweet smoke undertones, damson's and fig but never overplaying on the palate, with hints of leather and ground coffee beans, crushed black pepper, some dry spices and soft coconut in the background, medicinal notes throughout the palate, the finish has everything you want from a vintage Springbank, some dark fruits, some cocoa and baking spices, with some light honey and sweet smoke.
