Springbank 22 Year Old / 1999 / Mossburn / 54.7% / 70cl
From the now highly prized distillery Springbank, this vintage was a great tasting dram full of classic Campbeltown magic on the palate.
Nose: Some smoke lingering in the front of the nose, hints of wet sand and drift wood, a little citrus and cream, spiced fruits, warm leather and some dried apricot.
Palate: Spices and sweet notes on the front of the palate, hint of lemon and cream cheesecake, fruit buns, touches of crack peppers, Himalayan pink salt, hand rolling tobacco, the finish is long and lingering with smoke and spice alongside those rich Campbeltown flavours we all know and love.
