Plantation 15 Year Old 2007 Under The Sea Clarendon 48.4% / 70cl
Distilled using the Pot Still of Clarendon, with 13 Years aging in the Caribbean before moving to France where a further 2 years maturation was undertaken in Cognac Ferrand Casks.
Nose: Lots of soft summer fruits on the front of the nose, peach and red apples, some berries and a soft vanilla, candied orange and soft peppery notes.
Palate: With the richness of the nose its not a shock to find the palate is bursting with flavours, rich golden toasted brioche, hints of creamy lemon and vanilla glaze, sweet nutty flavours and red currants, some sweet aromatic notes from front of the palate arrive in the finish of spices and cedar cigar box lining.
