Nose: Soft honey and rich tangy woody spice, some soft herbal notes of cloves, salted caramel, vanilla ice-cream, soft oak embers with a touch of sweet smoke wafting in and out, waxed paper and a hint of green grapes, a nice earthy wood note, crispy green apples.  

Palate: The ex-bourbon cask seems to have imported some excellent flavours to this dram, hints of crumbly shortbread and soft baked gingerbread, salted milk chocolate and spiced apple notes in the mid palate, soft spice, banana bread, tobacco leaf and spices, deliciously lingering single malt with a gentle smoke that intertwines itself throughout the dram.
