Palate: The opening on the palate is packed with rich and tasty dark fruit, damson and sultana, soft chocolate sponge with strawberry jam and whipped cream adding a superb smoothness to the palate, spiced berries and candied orange peel, some hints of milk chocolate and delicate cinnamon, a long and lingering rich finish packed with sherry cask goodness.
