Nose: With a crispy clean hint of lemon this dram soon opens and more meaty aroma of Barbeque meats and spiced fruit, charred oak, some fresh tangy edges with a hint of caramel and dark honey.
Palate: More of the meaty elements with a touch of smoke and spice to start this dram off on the palate, some herbal notes of cloves and soft sage, candied lemon and a touch of nuttiness, with a smoke and peat mix across the palate right into the lingering finish of this full bodied Islay.
