Ledaig 26 Year Old / 1995 / Thompson Bros / 45% / 70cl
Nose: From the opening you get that rich aromatic Ledaig, with some smoke and fruit, black pepper with a little all spice, some dry oak and hints of coastal grass.
Palate: Firm rich and creamy with soft hazelnut and toasted almonds, some white chocolate and smouldering embers of Larchwood, smoke and peat play a dominant but not too overwhelming part of the palate, a rich and full bodied single malt right to the finish.
