An unusual find Bourbon that was specially labelled for export to Japan.
Distilled under the care of the Old Heaven hill Springs distillery, later renamed simply as Heaven Hill Distillery in Kentucky.
Nose: Bold rich caramel and spice, hints of charred oak, demerara sugar and dried apricots, some nutty tones with a touch of tobacco leaf.
Palate: A rich nose and a superbly rich palate, some crisp honeycomb with a hint of dark chocolate, some candied orange peel, opal fruits, soft candy with a hint of truffle, some cracked black pepper, hints of cinnamon and dark fruit muffins.
