Nose: Sweet and smooth aromas of dark sweet fruits, honey and barley sugar twists, some sweet citrus and watermelon freshness shines on the nose, with a rich and deeply complex sherry note taking over this is an impressive start to this very rare dram.
Palate: Smooth and balanced notes of citrus and dark cocoa, some rich sherry cask and summer fruits flood the front of the palate with so much taste, candied orange and soft peach, with a little oily note adding to the richness, dark fruits and some nice waxiness adding to mouth coating of flavours, with a smooth and incredibly balanced finish of soft sweet damson and rich orange, a hint of spice and mellow honey.
