Glen Scotia Double Cask Rum Finish 46% Vol
This expression brings together the taste and flavour of Campbeltown alongside another dram of the area Rum, with records showing Rum was available in the town as far back as 1815, because Campbeltown was one of the busiest ports at the time its hardly surprising that such a link exists, this is a perfect marriage between two great distillates as a cask finish.
Nose: Hints of classic Campbeltown on the nose, a salty maritime aroma, salted caramel and sweet summer tropical fruits, with a little hint of creaminess adding a very tempting note, some dark fruits with a dash of spice.
Palate: The rum cask influence on the nose follows on the front of the palate, Tropical fruits, dried apricots, some candied orange and sweet spices, creamy vanilla and soft honey, with a touch of crisp honeycomb, sea salted caramel adding that classic Campbeltown backdrop to the lingering finish
