This extremely rare vintage from Glen Moray was distilled in 1959, it then spent its life resting in a sherry cask until 1989.
Nose: Rich aromatic dark orchard fruits, damson and plumb jam notes, some sweet spiced red grapes with a hint of pepper and strawberry.
Palate: A rich tasting single malt packed with dark fruits and hints of candied orange with a leather and polished oak note. A lingering dram that unfolds with every sip.
This is a very old school style dram filled with taste unlike many others today this shines with a full 30 years in the cask rather than a finish
