Glen Garioch 30 Year Old 1991 Whisky Sponge 65.A

Nose: A sublime rich nose that's harder to describe without leaving something out! A complex nutty and fruity  opening to the nose, some light sweet seaside grass, hessian sacks and peach stones, toasted almonds. 

Palate: Soft toasted oak and spices, dark vine fruits and mellow honey, with a pinch of soft pepper and earthy notes, charred fruits, some lemon and lime, mouthcoating waxiness really binds this great dram across all areas of the palate, with breakfast tea leaf, smoldering rich hints of sweet tobacco leaf, dates and one final twist of baked apple and spice. 

An old school dram that keeps changing and growing on the palate.
