Nose: Deep rich dark and smooth fruity notes, with a spiced ginger cake and dry herbal note, tobacco leaf, polished oak, vanilla and sweet summer fruit, dates and sweet plumbs, some dark chocolate nibs with a touch of soft pepper, dunnage warehouse with a hint of salted toffee.

Palate: Some sweet dark fruits like sultana and fig’s, sweet chilly sauce adding a rather nice tone ahead of toasted chestnut, cinnamon and white pepper, soft ginger and honey, dark chocolate, smooth flavours of pineapple and toffee leading to a tangy rich and spicy finish, more warming spices and hints of cocoa.
