Aged for 12 year With a long finish in a Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead Cask

Nose: Shortbread and cream, flaked almonds and walnuts, fresh baked fruit sponge and hints of mixed fruit jam, sweet spices with a dash of sweet paprika, some crispy biscotti, toffee, and subtle honey notes, some dark sweet plumbs and hints of Damson, candied orange peel.   

Palate: More of those deliciously tempting sweet spices from the nose arrive on the front and mid palate, a slight minty freshness adds a nice twist to the palate before we find rich fruit cake, creamy toffee and succulent raisins, sweet red apples, tangy liquorice root and a nice hint of cinnamon buns glazed with maple and honey.
