Candlekitty 2010 Year Old Sponge Edition No.78 57.1% ABV

A highly sought-after and curiously named independent bottling from The Whisky Sponge and Decadent Drinks. Candlekitty is back! The distillery remains a mystery, but it’s all about fruity seashore notes all wrapped up in wax. The 2010 refill barrel has been bottled as a 12 year old at 57.1% ABV.

Tasting note:

Nose: Aromatic and citrus-led, with orchard and hedgerow fruits coming through along with a seaside breeze.

Palate: Rich, round and mouth-coating, an undeniably waxy texture holds more citrus along with raspberries and gentle sweet spices.

Finish: Medium length and warming.
