Beefeater 24 London Dry Gin 45% ABV
A new addition to the Beefeater range, but one that’s already a modern classic. Master distiller Desmond Payne added tea to his roster of 12 botanicals in this London dry bottling, including Japanese Sencha and Chinese green varieties. Classic citrus, spice and juniper are all wonderfully prominent, too. ‘24’ is in the name because the botanicals are steeped in spirit for a full 24 hours prior to distillation.
Tasting note:
A wonderfully aromatic nose offers citrus peels and gentle spices, all rooted in juniper and liquorice. The palate sees the savoury teas come more to the fore.
