A 30 year-old single malt from Balvenie's Rare Marriages series, with American and the best of European oak casks used to mature this single malt to perfection.
Nose: Some soft caramelised citrus, toffee and dates, peach and soft pears in a soft syrup, some chocolate and honey adding to the richness of the nose.
Palate: So very elegant on the front of the palate, a creamy vanilla and soft chewy caramel toffee, sliced pears, hints of sweet delicate spices, some nice rich chocolate and honey tones marry the mid palate together perfectly, this dram keeps the quality and finesse from the casks right to the very end.
Distillery Notes.
Nose: Smooth and honeyed on the nose with mellow oaky tones and hints of candied orange peel.
Palate: Great depth with rich dark chocolate, hints of plum, marzipan and caramelised pear.
Finish: Exceptionally smooth and warming with gentle spice and lingering sweetness.
