Port Charlotte Islay Barley / 2013 / 50% / 70cl

Nose: Big bold dry smoke and peat as we might have expected, some dark coca and brittle treacle, liquorice, dark fruits and dry spices with hints of sea salt. 

Palate: As bold as the nose but with some mellow fruits at the front and sides of the palate, with the additional build-up of smoke and peat as the dram opens effortlessly. Peat smoke and bonfire embers with hints of smoked fish dried spices.
