Port Charlotte 18 Year Old 2004 Little Brown Dog

Nose: With a sweet almost tropical fruit aroma, hints of old parchment paper and soft leather, some dried oak spice and charred ember smoke drifting in and out adding a nice richness to the nose.

Palate: Some dried summer fruits, banana and peach with some golden honey, soft citrus flavours building alongside a rich and complex smoked spice flavour, with late summer cut crass and hay lofts, green grape and hints of waxiness binding the whole palate together, with pepper and more dried fruits alongside a spice and smoke to the end.

This is an exceptional cask of Port Charlotte
